It also contains HT which makes it even more powerful. But spending $999 on a single component of the machine is not a good idea.

F.E.A.R. is back, as Warner Bros Interactive has announced that Day 1 Studios will be at the helm of the next installment to simply be called F.E.A.R. 3. Previous developer Monolith has transitioned the franchise off to Day 1 Studios going forward, so it looks that we can expect the franchise to continue.

Intel is handing out PCs equipped with an experimental 48-core CPU

The gear is being sent out as part of a research project as the 48-core part might never become commercially available. Intel wants researchers who are likely to want it for supercomputing tasks to give it a try.

GF104 is mainstream fermi

Nvidia's first new card to launch after Geforce GTX 480 and GTX 470 cards. The new card is codenamed GF104 and it is currently taped out, works and performance looks good.
